Would you believe me if I told you that my husband and I don’t do Christmas gifts? Instead, he gives me several gifts during the month of December. They range from a trip somewhere warm since I hate the cold. A piece of jewelry I’ve been eyeing, or a collection of books I have on my reading list. How do I reciprocate? I try, but can never succeed. He is very stubborn about not needing anything, so this blog is for wives like me who need a gift guide for a man who wants for nothing.
Simple Men Like Simple Things
Simple doesn’t mean boring or cheap. It simply means that these types of men prefer things that are what they appear to be. For example, a long-sleeved collared shirt should fit correctly and be functional. A winter sweater should keep you warm. And a turtle neck should offer an extra layer of protection from the cold.

These finds are simple but intentional. A man with simple tastes will surely enjoy them.
Mr. Suave Has His Tastes
Then there’s Mr. Suave. He cares about his appearance. What do we get for a man who can appreciate an aesthetic? Sophistication loves to smell good so an addition to his cologne collection would be perfect. A leather toiletry bag for his “get ready” essentials. And a pair of posh slippers. These all sound like great additions to your well-to-do fellow.

The Rustic Caveman
We tend to overthink the rustic caveman type, but I feel like you have to think outside the box just a little. In their eyes, their pleasures are simple. He doesn’t often speak about the things he enjoys, so we have to pay attention. Does he enjoy a stiff drink? Then maybe a whiskey smoker is just the thing. My next suggestion might seem far-fetched, but trust me. A man always needs a good tactical knife. My husband carries one around 97% of the time, and I can’t tell you how many times it’s come in handy. The last thing I would suggest is a mini fridge for his garage, man cave, or, in my experience, the barn.

A little of this, a little of that.
I have high hopes that you will find something special for the man in your life on this list. My husband owns several of the things on this list, and I can truly say he enjoys them. There’s a little bit of everything in him: the simple, the suave, and the caveman. Happy shopping.
Love you.
